Dr. Sandra Armstrong is a 1988 graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch in Houston, Texas. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Armstrong attended a pediatric dental residency program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She received intensive oncology training at MD Anderson Hospital, special patient training at Richmond State School hematology and AIDS management at Gulf States Hematology Clinic, and pediatric medicine and anesthesiology at Hermann Hospital. Dr. Armstrong served on the Craniomalformation team in Houston, and at Cook’s Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dr. Armstrong is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Society of Dentistry for Children, American Society of Anesthesiology, the Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Amy Watts is a 2006 graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Watts attended The Ohio State University Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She received extensive training in every aspect of pediatric dentistry including treating dental traumas, treating medically compromised patients, learning the art and science of oral sedation as well as treating patients under general anesthesia. She earned her Master of Science Degree in Dentistry in May of 2008 and completed her residency in June of 2008, earning her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Watts is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Greater Dallas Pediatric Dental Society and the Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Both Dr. Armstrong and Dr. Watts are diplomats of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. To reach this diplomat status, they successfully passed a comprehensive written examination as well as an oral examination of clinical cases before examiners of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. They continually strive to learn the latest in technique and treatment modalities to stay at the forefront of evidence-based dentistry.
Located in Southlake, their practice is focused on providing the highest standard of dental care in a pleasant and comfortable environment.
