Dr. Douglas Pincock

Our office is focused on the prevention of oral diseases, dental caries (cavities), and malocclusion (incorrect bite).  We provide a variety of services for our young friends including cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, restorations/fillings, cosmetic bonding and orthodontics.  We feel that early detection and intervention is just one of the keys to success for a happy, healthy smile.

Both of our locations, Germantown and Rockville, are designed with our young patients in mind.  Each is decorated to help your child feel more comfortable and confident.  Our caring and professional staff understand that dental appointments can be intimidating for our young friends.  We always keep this in mind as we try to make each visit a pleasant, positive experience for your child.

Each member of our staff has special qualities that come to life in our office.  Julian - our receptionist, makes each child feel welcomed as they come through our door.  She has a way about her that makes every child feel special.  Lorraine - our dental assistant, helps each child feel more comfortable and more relaxed throughout their appointment.  Her friendly smile and calming voice is very soothing, even to the most anxious patient.  Shanda - one of our Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH), is very kind and caring.  Her goal is to help your children to understand that prevention is a key to overall health.  Erika - our office manager, is professional at handling any of your financial or insurance needs.  She is a true testament of Dr. Pincock's abilities. Erika has been managing our office since 2000.

Dr. Pincock has been practicing pediatric and adolescent dentistry since 1971.  His undergraduate studies were completed at Gettysburg College.  He then went to the University of Pennsylvania Dental School completing his general dental program.  Dr. Pincock's specialization studies for Pediatric and Adolescent Dentistry were done at Children's Hospital Center in Washington, DC.  After graduation, Dr. Pincock taught at Georgetown University Dental School as an Associate Clinical Professor until 1986 while building and maintaining his private dental practice.  

Dr. Pincock continues to strive to provide our area's children with the best dental care possible.  He is continually broadening the horizons of his pediatric dental care by participation in numerous continuing education courses.
